Beijing No.3 School for the Deaf , Beijing Vocational senior School for the Handicapped is located in No.32 Huayuan North Road Haidian District Beijing China . This school is the only vocational senior school for deaf people and physical handicapped people in Beijing.




The school covers 17.4 mu . The buildings dimension is more than 10000 square meters . There are multifunction classromms , professional art classrooms , computer classrooms , professional language-training and testing classrooms , gymnasium , a set of closed-circuit television system and others advanced installations in the school .




In October 2000 , the school local net has been built . Teachers can gain lots of information and send or get E-mails through internet . Most of work can be finished online .




The school has a group of high-quality young teachers . There are 56 teachers working in the school and 28 of them had graduated from universities . They have been the most important power of the special education .





  The school's purpose is : "Serve for the Handicapped , Benefit for the Handicapped ." All teachers are working hard to train more and more powerful laborer.




There are primary school , middle school and senior school in the school . Two parts of students in the school : One part is deaf-mute students ; the other part is Handicapped students . In order to adapt the development of society , the school offers the courses such as Chinses , English , Maths , Politics , History , Geography , Computer , Computer Art , language-training and testing , and so on .




  In 2000 , the proportion of deaf-mute students entered colleges reaches 95 percent . the handicapped students entered colleges reaches 70 percent .
